On Sunday, the girl and I took a class to make a glass egg. It was put on by the local glass institute. We had a great time. Since I had never worked with molten material before, I didn't know what to expect (I know, what kind of Mother allows her 7 year old to play with molten glass). The instructor asked us who was going to go first. The girl's hand pops up and she said "I will". The instructor and his assistant told her she was very brave, to go first without seeing what was involved.
In the picture, the girl is picking out her glass colors. She went with pink, purple and turquoise.
The post is kind of long. Since the pictures were taken on my phone, I have to download them as separate posts.
