As you may know I live in the suburbs. So when I need to get straw to cover the soil in the garden I can drive 20 miles to get farm prices, or go to the one place in town that sells straw bales. For 9.75 a bale. For two bales its cheaper than the gas it would take to pick up the 3.50 bales. So, I guess the moral of the story is if you want to live less than a mile from the supermarket expect to pay a premium for farm materials!
Hahahahahaha! Hahaha! Hahahaha!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, if we had a bad drought or some other calamity, I could be in your shoes. With the exception of the convenience of living in the suburbs, of course.
