The Kite Runner

Finally! A nice day. It was in the high 60's, so naturally the boy broke out his shorts. There was enough of a breeze to do a little 'Superhero' kite flying.

A few more pictures. The one with the kids petting the horses is from our sleigh ride in a National Forest. It was a very beautiful and peaceful sleigh ride.

Getting Ready...

I know this is out of order, but I thought it was cute. The munchkins are getting their snowballs ready to ambush their Dad.

Cousins

The day after we got home from the snow, the kids and I met up with an Aunt an Uncle and some of my cousins and their kids. We went to the aquarium. The kids had a great time. Their oldest cousin K just turned 13 and the youngest LJ is 3 months. The boy was really excited, because his older cousins played football with him out on the grass.

Snow Day

Their cousin C also came up to see the snow for the first time. They had fun sledding. They got more daring the longer they sled.

Let it Snow

We took the young-in's to the snow for the first time. We lucked out and the weather was nice and sunny. They sled, skied and tobogganed. This morning the kid's and I watched the Olympic downhill racing that I taped. The boy told me that the female racers were "fast skiers, almost as fast and as good as skiing as I am". No self confidence issues here.
