The boy and I were at the library today waiting for R to finish chess lessons. He is playing on one of the kids computers in the children's library area. A cute little girl his age comes and sits next to him. She starts playing the game with him. After a few minutes of watching them and listening to them talk they have the following conversation:
Girl- Do you want to be my boyfriend?
Boy- No, I love my Mom.
Girl- Are you sure?
Boy- Yeah, I really love my Mom. (at this point I think, if only he feels like this in 10 yrs)
Girl- Do you want me to be your girlfriend?
Boy- No, I already have one, her name is R and she is my sister. She has long hair that grows a lot.
Girl- My hair grows a lot and is getting longer.
Boy- No thanks, do you want a turn?
I wish I could have taped it. I was trying so hard not to smile! How innocent he is. His girlfriend, is a girl that is a friend.

Whose Kid is This?
This is a picture of the boy getting ready to do his homework. Yes, I do realize he is wearing swim goggles. He did his homework with them on. Somethings are better left unasked.
Blogging from my phone
Talk about a pointless blog post. I was checking out how to blog away from the computer, and how to avoid the hassle of downloding pictures from the camera and uploaing them again. It appears pretty easy to do, so go ahead and enjoy this picture of my cubicle wall.

Potato Head...I Mean People
The girl's project for the week was to make a potato person. She chose to make it into an angel. I think her and her Dad (who is in charge of implementation of all creative endeavors, as he has actual artistic talent-one of the reasons I married him) did a pretty good job. Is it sacrilegious to peel and mash it now?

Leprechaun trap
The kids just after waking up on St. Patrick's day. Looking to see if they caught anything in the leprechaun trap.

Are you ready for some football...
It was a nice day, so the neighborhood kids decided to play football. They very graciously included my little ones. Is that Ben Roethlisberger (aka their Dad)as the QB for both teams? After changing into an appropriate football ensemble (appropriate for my girly girl), the girl scored two touchdowns by using trick maneuvers. She breezed pass the older boys to score. She was very proud of herself and they were also proud of her. Of course I was also distracted during the game, so I didn't get a picture of her scoring. All in all, a fun afternoon.
