Boy treasure

When I went to get ready for bed I peeked into the boys room. As my eyes got used to the dark I could see there was something glowing under the covers. I pulled them back and found this.

The kids had got a bunch of glow sticks as loot from a birthday party. Sweet dreams indeed.

The Zoo

Riding a motorcycle.
A gibbon monkey, not actually related to my monkeys.
The docent is showing the kids elephant dung and explaining about it's importance to baby elephants, dung beetles and the environment. After this, the docent asked if there were any more questions. The boy raised his hand and asked the man, "Why are elephants made so big?". The docent looks at him and say's "I have never been asked that question in all my time doing this. I don't know why they are made that big. I don't have an answer for you". He consults with another docent who say's he hasn't ever been asked that question either. He tells the boy he doesn't know. Stumped by a 4 year old!

Arrrgh... A Pirates Life For Me!

Hubby helped move this sail boat, while I took the monkeys back to their real home...the zoo.

Spring Break Play Date

The Boy, the Girl and her friend A at a bounce house play date. The Boy's friend M is in the background.

Falling down.

Monkeys Swinging in Trees...

Monkeys love trees and ladybugs and frog hopper rides. This week is spring break so we went to a local amusement park. The kids had a great day.

Easter Cooking

The Girl made the bunny cake at Easter. She did everything, but put the cake in the oven.

The Boy made whipped cream for one of the Easter dishes.
It is nice having minions...I mean children.
